Job summary:

We're looking for a Detective to investigate crimes and close cases for [police department name]. The right person is a sworn officer with strong investigative skills who works well with victims, prosecutors, and other agencies.

Key responsibilities:

• Respond to crime scenes and coordinate with patrol officers and crime scene technicians.

• Collect and preserve evidence and maintain chain of custody.

• Review video, phone records, and digital evidence to develop leads.
