Job summary:

We're looking for a board-certified Pediatrician to provide primary care to infants, children, and adolescents at [company name]. The right person delivers preventive care, treats acute and chronic illness, and builds trusting relationships with families.

Pediatricians help children grow up healthy and catch problems early. Strong preventive care and clear guidance for parents improve long-term health and keep families with the practice.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform well-child visits that follow the AAP Bright Futures schedule.
• Give vaccines according to the CDC immunization schedule and counsel families with questions.
• Diagnose and treat acute illnesses such as infections, injuries, and asthma flares.
• Manage chronic conditions such as asthma, ADHD, obesity, and diabetes.
• Screen for developmental delays, autism, and behavioral health concerns using standard tools.
• Counsel parents on nutrition, safety, sleep, and development.
• Refer patients to pediatric specialists and coordinate follow-up care.
• Document visits in [Epic, athenahealth, or other EHR].
• Take part in [shared call coverage or newborn nursery rounds].
• Follow HIPAA [or local privacy law], state mandated reporting laws, and Vaccines for Children (VFC) program rules.

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completed ACGME-accredited pediatrics residency.
• Board certification or board eligibility through the American Board of Pediatrics [or a CCT in Paediatrics (UK), FRACP (AU), or an MD in Pediatrics (India)].
