Job summary:

We're looking for a licensed Orthodontist to diagnose and treat tooth and jaw alignment problems for children, teens, and adults at [company name]. The right person creates clear treatment plans, uses both braces and clear aligners, and leads a skilled clinical team.

Orthodontists improve how patients bite, chew, and feel about their smiles. Accurate treatment planning and a good patient experience drive case starts, on-time finishes, and referrals from general dentists.

Key responsibilities:

• Examine patients and diagnose malocclusions using clinical exams, cephalometric X-rays, and intraoral scans.
• Build treatment plans and explain options, timelines, and costs to patients and parents.
• Place, adjust, and remove braces and other fixed appliances.
• Plan and manage clear aligner treatment using [Invisalign or other aligner software].
• Design and deliver retainers and functional or expansion appliances.
• Monitor treatment progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Coordinate with general dentists and oral surgeons on combined cases.
• Direct and train orthodontic assistants during patient visits.
• Document care in [Dolphin, OrthoTrac, or other practice management software].
• Follow [OSHA or local workplace safety], infection control, and HIPAA [or local privacy law] standards.

• DDS or DMD from a CODA-accredited dental school.
• Certificate in orthodontics from a CODA-accredited residency program.
