Job summary:
We're looking for a creative and disciplined Screenwriter to write scripts for [project type, e.g. feature films, TV series, or branded content] at [Company name]. You'll develop stories, characters, and dialogue from concept through final draft.
This role creates the foundation of every production. Strong scripts delivered on schedule help projects get approved, funded, and made.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop original story ideas or adapt existing material.
- Write outlines, treatments, and scene breakdowns.
- Write scripts with clear structure, strong characters, and natural dialogue.
- Revise drafts based on notes from producers, directors, and executives.
- Research topics, settings, and time periods for accuracy.
- Attend story meetings, table reads, and pitch sessions.
- Format scripts to industry standards using software such as Final Draft or WriterDuet.
- Meet agreed deadlines for each draft.
Qualifications: - Degree in screenwriting, film, or creative writing, or equivalent experience.

- Strong knowledge of story structure and script formatting.
