Job summary:

We're looking for an experienced Construction Manager to lead [residential / commercial] building projects from preconstruction through closeout. The right person plans schedules and budgets, manages subcontractors, and keeps every site safe and code-compliant.

This role decides whether projects finish on time, within budget, and to the client's quality standards. Strong planning and clear communication protect the company's margins, safety record, and client relationships.

Key responsibilities:

• Plan project scopes, schedules, and budgets with estimators, architects, and engineers.
• Build and update project schedules in [Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or a similar scheduling tool].
• Select, coordinate, and oversee subcontractors and suppliers, including bid review and scope definition.
• Track job costs, approve pay applications, and manage change orders to keep projects within budget.
• Secure building permits and coordinate inspections with local authorities.
• Lead a site safety program that meets [OSHA or local] standards, including daily safety checks and incident reporting.
• Run weekly owner, architect, and subcontractor meetings and document decisions.
• Review RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings and resolve design or field conflicts.
• Monitor quality through site walks, punch lists, and closeout documentation.
• Report project status, risks, and cost forecasts to clients and senior leadership.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
