Job summary:

We're looking for a Warehouse Worker to load, unload, and move freight in our [warehouse or distribution center]. You'll handle pallets and cases on the dock, run material handling equipment, and keep stock moving to the right place. The right person is reliable, safety-minded, and comfortable with physical work.

Warehouse workers keep freight flowing from the dock to storage and out to customers. Safe, steady material handling prevents damage and injuries and helps trucks leave on time.

Key responsibilities:

• Load and unload trucks and containers by hand or with equipment.
• Move pallets with forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
• Break down, sort, and wrap pallets for storage or shipping.
• Move stock between receiving, storage, and shipping areas.
• Check freight for damage and report problems to the dock lead.
• Inspect equipment before each shift and report defects.
• Follow forklift, dock, and PPE rules under OSHA [or HSE rules (UK), WHS laws (AU), or the OSH Code (India)].
• Keep docks, aisles, and racking areas clean and clear.
• Lift and move items of up to [50] pounds ([23] kg) alone, and use team lifts or equipment for heavier loads.
• Help train new team members on safe handling and dock routines.

• High school diploma or GED [or GCSEs, a Year 12 certificate, or a Class 12 pass], or equivalent work experience.
• [X]+ months of warehouse, dock, or material handling experience.
• Forklift operator certification [or an accredited forklift licence (UK) or a High Risk Work Licence, LF class (AU)], or ability to earn it within [90] days of hire.
• Ability to do physical work for a full [8- to 12-hour] shift, including in [hot, cold, or freezer] conditions.
