Job summary:

We're looking for a licensed Dentist to provide general dental care to patients of all ages at [company name]. The right person delivers quality preventive and restorative care, explains treatment clearly, and leads the chairside team.

Dentists shape both patient health and the growth of the practice. Accurate diagnosis, clear treatment plans, and a good patient experience build trust, case acceptance, and long-term patient retention.

Key responsibilities:

• Examine patients and diagnose dental conditions using clinical exams, radiographs, and intraoral scans.
• Build treatment plans and explain options, costs, and timelines to patients.
• Perform restorative procedures such as fillings, crowns, bridges, and root canals.
• Perform extractions and refer complex cases to oral surgeons and other specialists.
• Deliver preventive care and teach patients about oral hygiene.
• Complete exams for hygiene patients and review periodontal charting.
• Direct and support dental assistants and hygienists during procedures.
• Document treatment and code procedures with CDT codes in [Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Open Dental].
• Follow [OSHA or local workplace safety], infection control, and HIPAA [or local privacy law] standards.

• DDS or DMD from a CODA-accredited dental school.
