Job summary:

We're looking for a board-certified Neurologist to diagnose and treat disorders of the brain, spinal cord, and nerves at [company name]. The right person delivers evidence-based care in clinic and hospital settings and explains complex conditions in plain language.

Neurologists help patients manage conditions that affect movement, memory, and daily function. Fast, accurate neurology care improves stroke outcomes and quality of life for patients with chronic disease.

Key responsibilities:

• Evaluate and treat conditions such as stroke, epilepsy, migraine, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, and dementia.
• Perform detailed neurological exams and take thorough patient histories.
• Order and interpret MRI, CT, EEG, EMG, and nerve conduction studies.
• Respond to acute stroke alerts and inpatient neurology consults [including telestroke coverage].
• Perform procedures such as lumbar punctures and botulinum toxin injections.
• Manage medications, including anti-seizure and disease-modifying therapies.
• Coordinate care with neurosurgery, rehabilitation, primary care, and therapy teams.
• Document visits in [Epic, Oracle Health (Cerner), or other EHR] and code services accurately.
• Take part in [shared call coverage] and quality improvement work.
• Follow HIPAA [or local privacy law] and clinical quality standards.

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completed ACGME-accredited neurology residency.
• Board certification or board eligibility in Neurology through ABPN [or a CCT in Neurology (UK), FRACP (AU), or a DM in Neurology (India)].
• Active, unrestricted medical license in [state] [or GMC registration (UK), AHPRA registration (AU), or state medical council registration (India)] and active DEA registration [US only].
