Job summary:

We're looking for an Audiologist to evaluate, diagnose, and treat hearing and balance disorders in patients of all ages at [company name]. The right person holds a state audiology license, runs accurate diagnostic tests, and fits hearing technology with care.

Audiologists help patients hear, communicate, and stay steady on their feet. Accurate testing and well-fitted devices improve patient outcomes, satisfaction, and referrals to the practice.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform hearing evaluations, including pure-tone and speech audiometry, tympanometry, and otoacoustic emissions (OAE) testing.
• Conduct balance and vestibular assessments such as videonystagmography (VNG).
• Diagnose hearing loss, tinnitus, and balance disorders and build treatment plans for each patient.
• Select, fit, and program hearing aids using real-ear measurement and manufacturer fitting software.
• Provide aural rehabilitation, tinnitus management, and hearing aid counseling to patients and families.
• Perform newborn hearing screenings and pediatric hearing evaluations [if applicable].
• Refer patients to ENT physicians for medical or cochlear implant evaluation when needed.
• Document visits, test results, and treatment plans in [Epic, Noah, or Sycle].
• Code audiology services accurately using CPT and ICD-10 codes.
• Follow HIPAA [or local privacy law], infection control, and equipment calibration standards.

• Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) from an ACAE- or CAA-accredited program.
