Job summary:

We're looking for a Housekeeper to clean and maintain guest rooms and public areas at [hotel, resort, or facility name]. The right person works carefully and efficiently, follows brand standards, and treats guests and their belongings with respect.

Housekeepers have a direct effect on guest satisfaction and review scores. Clean, well-stocked rooms and spaces lead to better reviews, repeat stays, and fewer complaints.

Key responsibilities:

• Clean guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, lobbies, and other public areas to brand standards.
• Make beds, change linens and towels, and restock amenities and supplies.
• Vacuum, dust, mop, and disinfect high-touch surfaces on a set schedule.
• Update room status in [the PMS or a housekeeping app such as Optii or Flexkeeping].
• Report maintenance issues, damage, and safety hazards to the supervisor.
• Log and turn in lost and found items following hotel procedures.
• Use cleaning chemicals safely and follow Safety Data Sheet (SDS) instructions [and OSHA's Hazard Communication Standard (US), COSHH (UK), or local rules].
• Respond to guest requests for extra items or room service needs.
• Keep housekeeping carts, closets, and storage areas clean and organized.
• Respect guest privacy and follow security and key control procedures.

• Ability to lift up to [30] pounds ([14] kg), push carts, and stand or bend for most of a shift.
