Job summary:

We're looking for a licensed Plumber to install, maintain, and repair water, drainage, and gas systems in [residential / commercial] properties. The right person works to code, solves problems on site, and treats each customer's property with care.

Plumbers protect health and property by keeping water and waste systems working safely. Quality installs and accurate repairs reduce callbacks, prevent water damage, and build repeat business.

Key responsibilities:

• Read blueprints and plumbing plans to lay out pipe runs and fixture locations.
• Install water supply and drain, waste, and vent (DWV) piping using copper, PEX, PVC, and cast iron.
• Install and connect fixtures and appliances, including sinks, toilets, water heaters, and dishwashers.
• Diagnose leaks, clogs, and low water pressure using inspection cameras, pressure gauges, and leak detectors.
• Repair or replace damaged pipes, valves, and fixtures with minimal disruption to the customer.
• Clear drain and sewer lines with augers and hydro-jetting equipment.
• Install and test backflow prevention devices and gas lines where licensed to do so.
• Pressure-test new systems and make sure all work meets the [Uniform or International Plumbing Code, UK Water Regulations, or AS/NZS 3500] and local rules.
• Follow workplace safety standards [such as OSHA in the US], including confined space and trench safety.
• Record job details, parts used, and time in [ServiceTitan or company field app].

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a plumbing apprenticeship or trade school program.
• Valid [Journeyman or Master] Plumber license in [State] [or an NVQ Level 3 and Gas Safe registration for gas work (UK), or a state plumbing licence (AU or India)].

• Backflow prevention tester certification.
• Medical gas installer certification (ASSE 6010).
