Job summary:

We're looking for a skilled Cinematographer, also known as a Director of Photography, to lead the visual look of [project type, e.g. films, commercials, or branded content] for [Company name]. You'll plan and capture each shot to match the director's creative vision.

This role defines how the final production looks and feels. Strong camera and lighting decisions help the production stay on schedule, control costs, and deliver footage clients and audiences trust.

Key responsibilities:

• Work with the director to develop the visual style, shot lists, and storyboards.
• Select cameras, lenses, lighting, and grip equipment for each project.
• Lead the camera, lighting, and grip teams on set.
• Plan camera placement, movement, framing, and lighting for every scene.
• Scout locations and assess lighting, power, and space requirements.
• Monitor exposure, focus, and image quality throughout each shoot.
• Work with the colorist during post-production to finalize the look.
• Follow on-set safety rules for equipment, rigging, and crew.

• Degree in film or cinematography, or equivalent professional experience.

• A reel showing a range of visual styles and projects.
• Hands-on experience with cinema cameras such as ARRI, RED, or Sony.
• Strong knowledge of lighting, lenses, and color science.
