Job summary:

We're looking for a Plant Manager to lead all operations at our [product type] manufacturing site. You'll own safety, quality, delivery, and cost results and lead a team of [number] employees across production, maintenance, quality, and logistics. Key responsibilities:

• Lead daily plant operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
• Own the plant budget and profit and loss (P&L), including labor, materials, and overhead.
• Run the site safety program and keep the plant compliant with OSHA and EPA rules [or HSE and environmental regulator rules (UK), WHS and state EPA laws (AU), or the OSH Code and pollution control board rules (India)].
• Keep quality and environmental management systems certified to standards, such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
• Lead lean manufacturing and continuous improvement work, such as value stream mapping, kaizen events, and total productive maintenance.
• Track plant KPIs, such as overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), scrap rate, on-time delivery, and recordable incident rate.
• Plan and manage capital projects, equipment upgrades, and capacity changes.
• Build and develop the leadership team, and manage hiring, training, and succession planning.
• Manage employee relations, including [collective bargaining agreements] where they apply.
• Work with supply chain, engineering, and sales teams to align production plans with customer demand.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
